Rubber-Lined Piping & Pipe Fittings
DEVEL Rubber Lining Pipe Fittings are high-performance lined pipe components engineered specifically for severe corrosion and high-abrasion industrial environments where bare steel piping would fail within months. With decades of specialized experience in rubber lining technology, our manufacturing facility is fully equipped to handle and line complex fabrications of all sizes — from small-bore fittings to oversized systems where transport restrictions apply, we deploy certified field lining crews to complete seamless installations directly at your plant site.
Each fitting features a heavy-duty carbon steel shell for maximum structural stability combined with a premium elastomer liner precisely bonded to the interior surface using rigorous international lining standards and advanced vulcanization practices. The comprehensive material selection includes Natural Rubber, NBR (Nitrile), EPDM, Neoprene (Chloroprene), Ebonite (Hard Rubber), Hypalon (CSM), Triflex, MOR, and Chlorobutyl — each carefully matched to specific chemical, temperature, and abrasion resistance requirements.
Available product types cover the complete range of standard pipe fittings including 1.5D and 3D elbows (90° and 45°), reducers (concentric and eccentric), tees, crosses, stub ends, spool pieces, flanged adapters, and fully custom-fabricated specials in sizes from DN100 (4″) up to DN800 (32″) with larger diameters available on request. These fittings deliver outstanding wear resistance, superior vibration damping, significant noise reduction, and long-term corrosion protection across nuclear power plants, coal-fired power stations, ion exchanger systems in water treatment plants, shipbuilding and marine engineering, offshore oil & gas platforms, chemical processing industries, metal & metallurgical operations, and mining & mineral processing facilities worldwide.
Key Features at a Glance
- Comprehensive Elastomer Material Portfolio
Premium selection of industrial-grade rubbers tailored to every application: Natural Rubber (maximum abrasion resistance), NBR (oil/fuel resistance), EPDM (heat/weather/ozone), Neoprene (general-purpose chemical), Ebonite/Hypalon (extreme acid/alkali), Chlorobutyl (high-temperature acid condensate), plus specialty grades like Triflex and MOR for niche requirements. - Heavy-Duty Carbon Steel Shell Construction
All fittings built on robust carbon steel substrates providing high structural stability under pressure, thermal cycling, and mechanical loads. Steel quality meets ASTM A234 / A420 standards. Shell thickness is calculated per ASME B31.3 for each pressure rating. - Precision Vulcanized Bonding Technology
Rubber liners are bonded to steel shells through a multi-stage process including surface preparation (abrasive blast to SA 2.5), adhesive primer application, precision calendered sheet layup, and autoclave or steam-cure vulcanization ensuring bubble-free, permanent adhesion meeting ISO standards. - Complete Fitting Product Range
Full catalog of lined pipe fittings: 1.5D short-radius elbows, 3D long-radius elbows (90° and 45°), concentric/eccentric reducers, equal/reducing tees, crosses, stub ends, spool pieces, flange adapters, and custom fabrications in any configuration required by your P&ID. - Outstanding Abrasion & Corrosion Protection
Liner thicknesses ranging from 3 mm to 25 mm engineered to specific duty cycles. Natural rubber liners achieve wear volumes as low as 60–150 mm³, outperforming hardened steel by 4x or more in slurry service. Chemical-grade liners provide zero permeation protection against aggressive acids, alkalis, and solvents. - Vibration Damping & Noise Reduction
The elastomer lining layer acts as an inherent vibration isolator, absorbing mechanical energy from pumps, compressors, and turbulent flow while significantly reducing radiated noise levels compared to all-metal piping systems. - On-Site Field Lining Capability
For oversized systems beyond transport limits or existing in-service piping requiring relining, certified field lining crews deploy directly to your plant site. Portable vulcanization equipment enables factory-quality bonding in situ with full documentation and inspection certification. - Multi-Industry Application Coverage
Proven performance across nuclear power, coal-fired generation, water treatment ion exchangers, shipbuilding & marine engineering, offshore oil & gas platforms, chemical processing plants, metallurgical operations, and mining & mineral processing facilities worldwide.

Manufacturing Process & Quality Assurance
Surface Preparation: All carbon steel substrates undergo abrasive grit blasting to SA 2.5 (Near-White Metal) cleanliness profile immediately prior to adhesive application, ensuring maximum bond strength between steel shell and elastomer liner.
Liner Thickness Control: Liner thickness is specified based on expected service life and abrasion severity. Standard thicknesses range from 3 mm (light-duty) to 25 mm (severe slurry). Thickness tolerance is controlled within ±0.5 mm across all surfaces including complex geometries of elbows and tees.
Vulcanization: Curing is performed in autoclaves or steam vessels under controlled temperature and pressure cycles specific to each rubber compound. This ensures uniform cross-linking density throughout the liner thickness for consistent physical properties.
Inspection Protocol: Every fitting undergoes spark testing (holiday detection) for pinhole-free integrity, hardness verification (durometer) at multiple points, and visual examination for surface defects. Test reports accompany each shipment.
Flange Compatibility: All flanged fittings can be supplied with drilled flanges matching ANSI Class 150/300, EN PN10/16/25, DIN, JIS, or any customer-specified standard. Face finishes include raised face (RF) and full face (FF).
